The COVID-19 Act
The COVID-19 (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill was voted with amendments on 15th May 2020 by the National Assembly of Mauritius and has since been enacted following receipt of the President’s assent on 16th May 2020 (and will therefore hereafter be referred to as the COVID-19 Act). The below article summarises the main amendments to be made by the COVID-19 Act.
