Investors willing to invest in innovative projects for which there exists no legal framework, or adequate provisions under existing legislation in Mauritius may be allowed to conduct the business activity under the Regulatory Sandbox Licence (RSL).

The RSL is issued by the Economic Development Board on the basis of an agreed set of terms and conditions for a defined period. The applicant should be able to demonstrate the innovative nature of the project at the local, regional or international level.
